UN Envoy on Technology calls for digital capacity building across the UN system
Digital technologies have emerged as the primary catalysts for transformative change. As they continue to change the way we work and solve problems, it has become imperative for individuals, governments and the United Nations to consistently update and realign their skills, knowledge, and behaviours in line with the demands of digital transformation.
Amandeep Singh Gill, UN Secretary-General's Envoy on Technology stresses the need to invest in digital capacities to transform our organisation’s skills, processes and technologies towards digitally enabled programmes and solutions.
What is UNDC?
UNDC is a collaborative community open to the entire UN family dedicated to digital transformation within the UN. Supported by the Executive Office of the Secretary-General, ITU, UNDP and the UN Innovation Network convene this digital community to support the sharing of knowledge, expertise and adoption of good practices on programmatic digital development.
You can expect the chance to connect through onboarding calls, newsletters and collaborations with external networks and partners.
Members will be invited to a broad event program, trainings, network opportunities and more.
