Promoting investment and technology transfer to boost the Pakistani livestock and dairy industry

Pakistan is the fourth largest milk producer in the world, but only 20% of its dairy production is processed in the country, as local farming techniques and management of financial stables are still outdated. In this context, UNIDO ITPO Italy organizes the virtual event “Webinar on Dairy and Livestock Sectors of Pakistan” in collaboration with the Pakistani Embassy in Rome and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA). This webinar provides a platform for knowledge exchange between Italian and Pakistani companies operating in the dairy and livestock sectors and is aimed at increasing investment opportunities and the transfer of innovative best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
