[UN BeSci Week] Why Behavioural Science Matters to the Work of the UN

The session will feature thought leaders from the United Nations and the field of behavioural science in a discussion of what behavioural science is, opportunities it presents for the work of the UN and how the UN can further its application. The event will also launch the UN Practitioner’s Guide to Getting Started with Behavioural Science: Applications to UN Policies, Programmes, and Administration. This session will include a keynote from Nobel Prize winner Abhijit Banerjee, remarks from Volker Turk (USG Policy) and a panel discussion with Melissa Fleming (USG Global Communications), Claudia Mojica (UN Resident Coordinator Argentina) and Rodney Ghali (Privy Council Office, Government of Canada).
