Terminology from text: An AI Story

Terminology is often the direct product of translation process as translators face new terms all the time. In this light, how do we make sure to extract all relevant terminology from tens of thousands of previously translated documents? How can we continue identifying possible new terminology from new documents not seen before for collaboration purposes? To address these points, Hussein Ghaly will discuss an Artificial Intelligence-based approach for terminology identification and extraction from the text. In this regard, he will introduce the basics of AI underpinning such an approach, including Machine Learning, Neural Networks and Natural Language Processing.
