The report highlights the opportunities that green innovation – goods and services with smaller carbon footprints – offer developing countries to strengthen their economies and boost their technological capacities. Analyzing the potential of 17 green & frontier technologies and the preparedness of 166 countries for these technologies, the report warns of a widening green tech gap. If developing countries act now, they can catch this green technological wave and grow their economies while helping to protect the planet.
