Learn & Earn - Language Learning in the Era of Web 3.0

Imagine being paid to learn a foreign language. With 1.4 billion people worldwide learning English, the social and economic impacts could be enormous. By getting paid for learning, millions of people could improve their economic and social mobility and earn a meaningful income in the process. This webinar shares the story of Letmespeak.org (LMS), a place to play, learn English and earn. Letmespeak.org is building a Web3 language learning experience. Its aim is to redefine how online education works, how economic incentives can be used to totally shift one’s motivation to learn, and to redesign learning products to fit the new era of the metaverse. LMS has already helped over 2 million people to improve their English for free and aims to help at least 50 million people learn a language every month in the coming years. The LMS ecosystem is built on the Solana blockchain, it consists of a gamified language learning app, NFT characters, decentralized marketplace, decentralized exchange, wallet ecosystem, in-game reward currency and governance tokens that can be exchanged for digital dollars.
