Behavioural science is increasingly being applied to address issues related to gender. This webinar run in collaboration with UN Women and the World Bank discusses the importance of understanding and unpacking gender norms to better respond to challenges facing women.
UN Women discusses work in the Latin America and the Caribbean region leveraging behavioural science to better understand how to engage men in preventing violence against women and girls. The World Bank presents their work on quantitative measurement of social norms, as they relate to women’s labour force participation, and how such measurement can lead to more nuanced understanding of normative challenges and inform policy.
