UN 2.0 Week - Transforming Food Systems: Innovative Approaches Powered by UN 2.0

1 in 10 people worldwide do not have enough food. Smallholder farmers play a critical role in ensuring food security in many countries, but limited access to modern agricultural technology, exposure to extreme weather and limited access to market severely reduce their yields and ability to feed communities. This session delves into innovative approaches that can reshape how the world cultivates, conserves, and consumes food. Experts from IFAD, FAO, WFP, and the private sector demonstrated how capabilities in data, digital and innovation are transforming food systems and promoting food security and sustainability.
